They are seeking skilled Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join their well-established and respected team based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

As aTrailer Technician / Fitter, your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
* Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
* Attending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs/servicing at customer sites
* Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
* Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
* Working efficiently, responsibly, and in a timely manner
* A C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required)
About you
For the Trailer Technician / Fitter role, you’ll bring relevant mechanical/engineering skills and ideally previous experience in a similar role. Strong time management, reliability, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is required.
They also welcome applications from those with less experience. If you have a mechanical background or training, they can provide further development. Trainee Fitters with mechanical skills can expect to earn between £33,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime.
