About the Role
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team, dedicated to crafting high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in cooking from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and team leadership
* Prepare and cook dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
* Manage stock levels and assist with ordering
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Solid background in cooking fresh food from scratch
* Passion for seasonal produce and creative cooking
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
* Food hygiene certification preferred
