Mixed use projects; Residential and Commercial Weekly paid via agency Required Qualifications & Experience: * Previously held a building mechanical services engineer’s role within a contracting/sub- contracting construction business. * Very strong practical and design knowledge of building mechanical services * Good commercial awareness * Appropriate level Mechanical Engineering Qualifications * Full UK Working entitlement Responsibilities; * Engineering of single or multiple projects from tender to design development, procurement, construction, handover and defect liability stages * Liaising closely with other professionals, incl. structural engineers, builders, architects and surveyors, in-house project teams * Working with the estimating team to produce successful tender bids * Development of Consultants drawings, with emphasis on the technical and practical merits of their drawings, to produce construction/working drawings * Interpreting specialist CAD drawings, BIM models and other resources to design the systems required for the project * Procuring specialist sub contract and plant and equipment * Managing the design of specialist elements from procurement through to handover e.g. mechanical and BMS controls, fire sprinkler syste...
