About the role As NOC Team Lead, you’ll take overall responsibility for a team of six analysts and bring a passion for delivering outstanding service to both stakeholders and customers. You’ll work closely with the NOC Manager to drive forward the strategic direction and roadmap, always looking for opportunities to improve and evolve how we operate. You’ll play a key role in supporting your team’s growth, helping them access learning and development opportunities that build the skills SLC needs for the future. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of critical service delivery—overseeing overnight batch processes for finance and management information systems, monitoring core services, logging and escalating incidents, managing leaver removals, and much more. Please note this role will include a mix of day and night shifts. What you bring Experience of running, monitoring and managing batches Experience of ITSM tools (such as ServiceNow/Assyst or similar) Use of monitoring tools (such as SCOM, BMC, SolarWinds or similar) Ability to self-manage Use of problem solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues Excellent, clear and concise communication skills with an ability to communicate in an appropriate tone to differing customer bases/levels of seniority Ability to lead the team through regular change (process and technological), ensuring reasoning for change is effectively communicated and understood Able to manage challenging or difficult situations with professionalism and empathy You can expect more from a career with SLC.
