The Role
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of prestigious prime residential and luxury construction projects, working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and commercial managers. You will gain hands‑on exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle, from early cost planning through to final account, within a business known for exceptional quality, attention to detail and client service. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to develop their commercial and technical skillset within a high‑end construction environment, working on bespoke projects for discerning private clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with cost planning, budgeting and financial control across luxury residential projects
* Support the preparation of tender documentation, bills of quantities and contract documents
* Help manage subcontractor procurement, including comparisons, appointments and valuationsAssist in the preparation of interim valuations, cost reports and final accounts
* Support the management of variations, change control and risk assessments
* Work closely with site teams, suppliers and consultants to ensure commercial objectives are met
* Attend project meetings and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure commercial activities align with contractual requirements, company procedures and best practice
About You
To be considered for this role you will need to be:
* A recent graduate (or soon‑to‑be graduate) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Have a strong interest in luxury / prime residential construction and high‑quality delivery
* Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills, with high attention to detail
* A confident communicator, able to build relationships with colleagues, supply chain and clients
* Proactive, eager to learn and keen to progress
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* A professional, positive attitude and pride in producing high‑quality work
