Bean Coffee is an independent coffee roaster based in the Northwest, with stores throughout Liverpool, Greater Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Sheffield. We focus on quality, people, and sustainability.
We roast our award-winning coffee in our roastery on Brunswick Dock, Liverpool. All our coffee is sourced from independent farms across Africa, South America, and Asia, ensuring traceability. This also means that we can guarantee all our beans are sustainably and ethically produced
We are looking for someone confident and positive to join our team at Bean Coffee.
The successful candidate
* Has a sound knowledge of the coffee industry and a passion for standards
* The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and able to work weekends when needed.
* Is a people person and can communicate effectively at all levels
* Has great business acumen, making sound decisions, adapting their approach to the needs of the business at any given time
* Has experience in a similar role with transferrable skills
* Has exceptional organisational skills
* Can remain professional always
* Has a passion for food and drink
* Can inspire and lead a team from the front, encouraging a fun yet professional workplace
* Should have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
The Role
* As an Assistant Manager, you support the Store Manager and take full responsibility in their absence.
* You are committed in ensuring your store deliver the highest standards.
* Ensure Coffee is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining latte art and exceptional Espresso.
* Cash handling and controls
* Stock ordering, controls and management
