Robert Half is pleased to be partnering with a well-established property management business based in central Birmingham. The company is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant join their finance team on a full-time, office based, temporary basis for an initial period of 6 months, with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
* Perform bank reconciliations, posting journals, and assisting with month-end close
* Support with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals
* Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
* Monitor and maintain cash flow tracking and reporting
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries
* Contribute to financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis for management
* Support any ongoing system or process improvements as required
You will have proven finance experience or accounting support role and able to start a role as soon as possible.
