Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer (DAYS)
Salary: Up to £55,000
Shifts: Monday-Friday: 6am-3pm / 10am-7pm; Tuesday-Saturday: 8am-5pm
Location: Evesham
Are you a talented engineer with a passion for food manufacturing and a can-do attitude? We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our growing team based in Evesham.
In this role, you'll report directly to the Engineering Manager, playing a key part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all site equipment. You'll work across planned maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns, helping to maintain full production capacity in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of equipment
* Document all work completed, including faults, repairs, and parts used
* Respond rapidly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and ensuring production targets are met
* Identify and report issues that require escalation or further investigation
* Apply practical problem-solving to keep equipment running, even when parts may need adapting due to short lead times or tight production schedules
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within the food or FMCG industry
* Electrical qualification (essential)
* Steam/boiler experience or a BOAS accreditation is highly desirable
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive, adaptable approach with excellent communication skills
* Reliability, hands-on attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed
