Visitor Experience Officer - Stockport Summary Join us for a year of creativity, challenge, and connection in a truly beautiful place. Are you energised by people, history, and making memorable moments happen? Do you love a day that throws you curveballs - in the best way - and enjoy bringing places to life for everyone who walks through the door? If so, this could be your perfect next step. What it's like to work here Lyme is the most incredible place. At Lyme you can see the moorland rolling into woodland, woodland falling into garden, and the garden leading to house. Each part shaped by time, yet none complete without the others. It is the sum of its parts that gives this place its soul. Long before the city spread beneath its gaze, Lyme marked a frontier, a northern edge where people, nature and history have met for centuries. It has seen Manchester grow from mills and smoke to the vibrant city of today, watching quietly as fortunes rose and fell, as war darkened the skies, and as light returned again. In the 21st century we are driven to look after Lyme for future generations and ensure anyone who wants it has access to nature, history, culture and beauty. This is a rare chance to spend a year embedded in a busy, vibrant National Trust property - where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a hands-on, audience-led Visitor Experience team delivering everything from candlelit concerts to family trails, artist-led festive moments, and seasonal programming that brings stories to life.
