Job Description

We’re looking for a Data Test Automation Engineer to help us ensure the integrity and performance of our data platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a supportive and inclusive team.
What You\'ll Be Doing
* Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for back-end data platforms
* Collaborating with engineers and analysts to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
* Creating automated tests to validate features and identify defects
* Documenting test plans and results clearly and effectively
* Supporting root cause analysis and providing feedback to development teams
* Participating in code reviews and ensuring compliance with group standards
* Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in test automation
* Embedding fairness and value in our data applications for all customers
Qualifications
* Demonstrating experience in testing back-end data solutions, including data streaming
* Applying strong Python and SQL skills in test automation
* Building tests within CI/CD pipelines and using version control tools like Git
* Communicating technical concepts clearly across cross-functional teams
* Working effectively in Agile environments
* Understanding data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Docker)
* Showing knowledge of shell scripting and serverless technologies (e.g. Lambda, Step Functions)
* Holding a relevant degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or software testing
