This isnt just data entry or ticking off checklists.
Its about being the person who keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. The one who knows exactly whats coming in, whats going out, and whats going wrong and then sorts it, without making a big deal of it.
Youll be working closely with customers, transport, warehouse, and site management making sure deliveries land on time, records are accurate, and everyones in the loop. Youre the thread that holds a lot of things together. If that sounds like something youd enjoy, keep reading.
What Youll Be Doing Managing the daily admin of inbound and outbound deliveries, making sure paperwork, systems, and expectations all match up.
Working directly with customer service teams updating them, chasing info, and keeping the communication clear and respectful.
Booking transport, tracking performance, chasing PODs, updating KPIs and helping spot issues before they turn into problems.
Creating and managing documentation for VAS activity, returns, and inbound stock.
Taking ownership of your inbox shared and personal and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Helping make the site run smoother by supporting your colleagues in warehouse, transport, and management.
Speaking up when somethings not right, escalating when needed, and always working towards a better outcome.
What Youll Need At least a year in a customer service or logistics admin role youve been in a fast-paced environment before, and you know what good looks like.
Good Microsoft Office skills Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, that kind of thing.
Great attention to detail. You dont just check boxes you check if the box should be there.
Strong communication skills. Youre not afraid to pick up the phone or push back (professionally) when its needed.
A proactive mindset youre someone who notices things and gets ahead of them, not someone who waits to be told.
High energy and a positive, helpful attitude youre the person people are glad to see walk in.
Extra points if youve worked with warehouse systems or if you understand warehouse and stock processes.
What You Might Not Like Theres a lot going on. Its fast, its varied, and sometimes the inbox feels like a firehose. If you need a predictable, one-task-at-a-time setup, this might be overwhelming.
Youll also be working across floors quite literally so theres some movement between ground level and the mezzanine office.
But if you like being the person who sorts things, if you thrive when people need you and you get satisfaction from making messy things work smoothly then this might feel like home.
