The Role
We’re looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at The Barley Mow, one of our much-loved London pubs. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, stylish interiors, and exceptional British dining, The Barley Mow thrives on the professionalism and warmth of its front-of-house team.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll support the management team in leading service, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering the outstanding hospitality Cubitt House is known for. You’ll help guide and motivate the team, assist with training, and play a hands-on role in creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management team in delivering exceptional restaurant service.
* Lead shifts confidently, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
* Provide warm, attentive, and professional hospitality to all guests.
* Assist with training and developing the front-of-house team.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and monitoring usage.
* Help manage bookings, guest requests, and busy service periods with calm efficiency.
* Foster strong guest relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a front-of-house or supervisory role within hospitality.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable service.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to high standards.
* Full eligibility to work in the UK.
