Job Title: Associate or Associate Director of Town Planning

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing planning practice in their search for an experienced Associate or Associate Director to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role, leading projects and shaping the growth of the practice.
About the Role:
The practice delivers projects across all development sectors, working on diverse and high-profile schemes throughout Scotland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee complex planning projects across residential, commercial, and renewable sectors
2. Manage key client relationships and contribute to business development strategies
3. Prepare and review high-quality planning applications, reports, and supporting documentation
4. Ensure successful project delivery, including budgets, timelines, and stakeholder engagement
5. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
What We’re Looking For:
6. Experienced Town Planner with a proven track record in consultancy, ideally across multiple sectors
7. Strong leadership, project management, and strategic communication skills
8. Experience in client management and business development
9. Chartered or working towards MRTPI status
10. Ability to drive team performance and contribute to the growth of the practice
