Restaurant Manager
The restaurant manager is responsible for the smooth running of the shift. You will work varied shifts including opens and closes. Often, you will be the only manager on shift and therefore are responsible for the entire operation of the day. No two days are the same in this role. Areas of Responsibility
Rotas
Creating rotas using the payroll system Bizzimply for departments and working within a budget.
Running Shift – Open and Close
Managing daily operations during shifts, creating shift plans, making staffing decisions based on business needs and bookings, and ensuring all departments (Bar, Floor, Kitchen, Host) operate smoothly. Acting as the Manager on Duty, responsible for guest satisfaction and handling complaints following company protocols.
Staff Incentives
Responsible for staff incentivisation, working closely with Supervisors to identify business or training needs, and monitoring company incentives.
Disposable Orders
Managing disposable orders and processing invoices, maintaining stock levels according to company standards.
Systems Management
Owning relevant systems such as Bizzimply and Collins during shifts, ensuring audits are completed timely.
Admin
Handling basic administrative duties including guest queries, complaints, responding to emails, and answering phones.
