Teach with Purpose
A secondary school in Brent is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to teach History, Geography, or Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4. Whether you’re experienced or an ECT, this is a chance to join a dedicated team committed to critical thinking, discussion, and real-world relevance.
The Role
You will teach one or more humanities subjects, helping students develop analytical and empathetic understanding. The school promotes curiosity, debate, and historical awareness.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver humanities lessons
Prepare students for exams and assessments
Mark, track progress, and provide feedback
Adapt lessons to support different learning needs
UK QTS and degree in a humanities subject
Strong subject knowledge and planning skills
Ability to create inclusive, engaging lessons
Classroom management and pupil engagement skills
Experience with exam preparation (GCSE)
Multi-subject flexibility (e.g. History + RS)
Experience with SEND or EAL learners
