The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
* Maintain a calm, positive and productive classroom environment
* Follow school behaviour policies and support students to stay engaged
* Supervise learning across a range of subjects
* Provide additional support to students with special educational needs or additional needs when required
* Build strong relationships and act as a positive role model
This role offers an excellent insight into life as a teacher and is a fantastic stepping‑stone towards teacher training or long‑term education roles.

The Ideal Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Experience working with young people of secondary school age
* Confidence managing groups and adapting to different classroom environments
* The ability to support students with SEN / additional needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and passion for supporting young people
* An interest in progressing into teaching or the education sector
Graduates from all degree backgrounds are encouraged to apply — no teaching qualification is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
