Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedNew Machine Preparation Technicianto join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of new vehicles and machines for delivery, ensuring they are built, fitted, and presented to the highest standard.
Your work will begin with the arrival of a boxed machine and end with the delivery of a perfectly prepared product to our sales team for handover to the customer.
This is a varied and rewarding position, with tasks ranging from the quick build and PDI of an ATV, to fitting cabins, heaters, and a wide array of accessories to utility vehicles and roadsters.
Key Responsibilities:
* De-crating and assembling new machines
* Installing accessories such as cabins, heaters, and other equipment
* Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
* Following technical instructions and schematics
* Ensuring each machine is completed to the highest quality standards
* Working safely with hand and power tools
Requirements:
* Basic mechanical experience (essential)
* Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy components
* Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
* Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
* Welding skills (an advantage but not essential)
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Competence using hand and power tools
* Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
