* Attract and secure high‑quality onshore engineering technicians through direct hiring channels, improving quality of hire and reducing agency reliance
* Ensure candidates are assessed consistently against technical, safety and compliance requirements, enabling confident hiring decisions

* Achieve fast, compliant onboarding and mobilisation, ensuring technicians are site‑ready when required
* Support delivery by meeting agreed budgets, rate parameters and hiring timelines
* Build and maintain the organisation’s presence across technician talent markets (e.g. training providers, early‑career channels and events)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment for technicians and engineering roles (permanent and contract), aligned to BAU and project demand
* Source candidates via direct channels (e.g. LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and trade networks) and maintain an active talent pipeline for core disciplines
* Screen and shortlist candidates against technical, safety, compliance and project requirements
* Coordinate interviews and technical assessments with hiring managers through to offer decision
* Maintain a strong candidate experience and timely communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle
* Coordinate offers, contracts and start dates, liaising with Logistics, Engineering Services and People & Development to support mobilisation
* Manage pre‑employment screening and maintain compliant recruitment records (e.g. right‑to‑work, references, IR35 and GDPR)
* Support targeted recruitment campaigns for project ramps and peak delivery periods
* Support early‑career attraction and market engagement through relationships with training providers and attendance at careers events where required
* Provide insights on candidate availability, skills shortages and market trends to support workforce planning
* Recruit within agreed budgets and role rate parameters, supporting agency avoidance where possible
* Track and report recruitment activity and pipeline metrics (e.g. time‑to‑hire and candidate flow) and contribute to salary/rate benchmarking as required
* Partner with Engineering Services, Project Teams, Logistics and People & Development to plan hiring, prioritise roles and support mobilisation
