The Surgery, Theatres, Anaesthetics and Endoscopy Care Group is seeking an inspirational nurse to lead Surgical Ward 3 at the Princes Royal University Hospital, part of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Surgery Ward 3 is a female surgical ward caring for patients admitted via elective and non-elective pathways, including specialties such as gynaecology and general surgery.

Main duties of the job
* Assume responsibility for the surgical ward and provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.
* Lead and develop the nursing team in caring for surgical patients and assist in developing clinical competencies.
* Provide expert, holistic care to patients and relatives within King's College Hospital.
* Act as a clinical resource within the ward and across the Care Group.
* Be an effective clinical leader and role model with good delegation and supervisory skills.
* Ensure safe and high-quality nursing care for patients and relatives.
* Undertake managerial responsibilities, ensuring staff management is safe, effective, and within budget.
* Participate actively in recruitment and retention programs.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and ward leadership to enhance patient care and experience.
