Operating in the corporate, healthcare, education, retail & leisure and local authority & central government sectors, we create and implement bespoke solutions to improve the performance and value derived from non-core activity.
As part of our continued growth, the opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The key purpose of the role is to drive commercial and contractual governance, client negotiations and relationships alongside reviewing process and implementing proactive change.

And as a Commercial and Quality Assurance Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by
Commercial and Contractual Governance:
Develop and implement robust commercial and contractual frameworks for the contract. This includes creating standard templates and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage and mitigate commercial risks through proactive identification, assessment, and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee the performance of the contract, identifying and addressing any deviations from agreed terms.
Ensuring any contractual variations are documented, governed and approved inline with internal and contractual governance.
Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to ensure compliance and optimise terms.
Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on commercial and contractual matters.
Client Negotiations and Relationship Management:
Develop and implement strategies to build strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
Respond to client inquiries and concerns proactively and effectively.
Monitor and report on client satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve it.
Process Improvement and Proactive Change:
Review and analyse existing financial processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying and implementing change initiatives.
Develop and implement effective reporting and analytics tools to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making.
Financial Processing:
Develop and implement financial processes to reduce the DSO (Days Outstanding Since Order)
Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and the Customer Services Excellence Centre Managers and Team Leaders to optimise cash collection
Ownership of the external and internal reporting on Accrued Income and WIP balances
Reviewing Supply Chain quotes to ensure that Value for Money is achieved
Additional:
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for this role.
Experience in the relevant industry is highly desirable.
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial.
Experience of NEC4 contracts is desirable
What does it take?

Very strong project management skills.
Experience of work in the FM Public Sector environment advantageous but not essential
Experience working within a continuous improvement culture with a strong customer focus.
At least 5 years commercial experience with demonstrable understanding of Hard FM (HVAC, Building services etc)
Able to manage challenging stakeholder relationships.
Able to manage own workloads and prioritise deadlines.
Experience in a commercial role: Prior experience working in sales, marketing, procurement, or contract management is highly desirable.
Strong commercial acumen: Understanding of business principles, financial analysis, negotiation, and risk management is crucial.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels is essential.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving commercial challenges is a key part of the job.
IT skills: Proficiency in relevant software and technology is increasingly important.
Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work between the West Sussex Office and your home address on a hybrid basis Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.
