We are a veryfriendly, efficient village practice in the Lincolnshire Wolds, seeking a Salaried GP,full or part time, with a view to partnership (if desired) down the line.
We are a part-dispensing 5.25FTE GP Partner Practice, who pride ourselves in teamwork and treat our staff likefamily. Accordingly, we have a very low staff turnover rate. The team cares for a Practice population which is just under 10,000 providing our services from two branches (North Thoresby and Holton-le-Clay).
Each partner has a specialist interest and we would consider and encourage any interestsin the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Northern Thoresby motto: The patient comes first.
Your job responsibilities would include 8 Clinical sessions for a full-time position. One day each week would be as duty doctor, which would include home visits on that day. You would be responsible for your own administrativework, helping others when they are on leave. You would be invited to attend weekly clinical and business meetings.
We arelooking for a knowledgeable, hardworking, innovative candidate with great teamworking skills. We are more than happy to mentor recently qualified GPs buildingyour confidence. Pursuing new skills is welcomed.
We can offeryou medical indemnity, six weeks of annual leave, and one week of study leave per year and CPD time. We follow the BMA Contract for employment.

Job responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities to include:
* Inaccordance with the practice timetable, the post-holder will make him/her-selfavailable to undertake a variety of duties including: face to face consultations,telephone consultations, carry out home visits as required, assist staff and patients with clinical or prescribing queries, checking andsigning repeat prescriptions, managing investigation results and completing paperwork andcorrespondence in a timely fashion.
* To produceand comply with a work plan developed in partnership with the Practice Managerand Partners to ensure all Practice and other work is delivered appropriatelyand safely.
* Participatein activities required to assess compliance with the CQC Fundamental Standards
* To provideany services as required for the Primary Care Network agreement includingshared QOF standards and service specifications.
* To providehigh-quality medical services in the context of General Practice to the patients registered with The North Thoresby Practice.
* To provideappropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and with all levels ofhealth care needs
* To respondto medical/health problems presented by patients on the Practice register, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral asappropriate.
* To read andinterpret test requests and results ordered by you and other team members, taking appropriate action based on the findings.
* To carry outappropriate administrative and other duties in line with the needs of the Practiceincluding referral to other services and maintenance of records.
* To maintainclinical records either written or computer based in line with professionalcode and requirements utilising appropriate coding.
* To work in-line with appropriate Practice policies and procedures including humanresources, safeguarding children etc.
* You will have access to confidential informationrelating to North Thoresby patients. You are required to exercise dueconsideration in processing such information and you should maintainconfidentiality for patients.
* The postholder will, if required to do so, obtain, process and/or use information inline with the GDPR requirements.
* Promote andparticipate in a high standard of care within the Practice.
