About the Role
A leading provider of dairy and beef genetic solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to cover the North West region. This field-based position centres on supporting progressive livestock farms, strengthening relationships with producers, and providing tailored breeding and herd-improvement strategies.
The role requires a confident communicator who can understand herd goals, deliver technical guidance, and drive commercial growth across the area. You will work closely with both existing and new clients, identifying opportunities to enhance on-farm performance through genetic and reproductive programmes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage sales activity across the North West, working to agreed growth and performance targets
• Build and sustain strong relationships with dairy and beef farmers, understanding their breeding and operational objectives
• Provide technical guidance on genetic programmes, reproduction, and herd-improvement tools
• Collaborate with technical and support teams to deliver customised on-farm solutions
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region
• Represent the business professionally at industry events, open days, and trade shows
• Produce sales forecasts, regional insights, and reports to support wider business decision-making
Requirements
• Proven sales experience within agriculture, livestock breeding or related agri-services
• Strong technical understanding of dairy and beef production systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and confident working independently
• Ability to relay technical information in a practical, farmer-focused manner
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region
