LCV Technician / Mechanic Required in Croydon
1. £35,000 - £42,000 (Depending on experience) + Individual bonus £500 - £1,500 per month
2. 42.5 hours per week + Optional overtime and flexible start and finish times

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced LCV Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established, family-run car dealership in Croydon. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to help maintain their excellent standards of service and contribute to the ongoing success of their business.
Key Responsibilities of a LCV Technician with our client:
4. Carry out routine servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to the highest standards.
5. Conduct diagnostics and fault finding using the latest tools and equipment.
6. Perform MOT testing and prepare vehicles for inspection, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards.
7. Work on a wide range of LCVs, from small vans to larger commercial vehicles.
8. Provide technical advice and support to customers and junior staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
9. Maintain detailed records of all work completed and ensure compliance with all dealership and manufacturer requirements.
10. Collaborate closely with the workshop team to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and participate in ongoing training and development.
12. Assist with road testing vehicles and providing accurate feedback on vehicle performance and potential issues.
13. Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the workshop.
What Our Client is looking For:
14. Proven experience as an LCV Technician or passenger vehicle mechanic within a busy workshop environment.
15. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work on a wide range of vehicles.
16. A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
17. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
18. Qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance (preferred).
19. A full UK driving licence is essential.
20. Ideally, candidates will live locally in the Croydon area or be able to commute comfortably.
