Our suburb ranks 3rd on the highest gun crime levels in Sydney. Guildford appears on the news for all the wrong reasons. It’s traditionally known as the ‘bad lands’. It’s the home of drug lords and bikey gangs. But over the years, God has been changing the ‘bad lands’ into the ‘promised land’ one person at a time.
The gathering at Guildford Anglican has almost as many cultures as there are people. We are Aussies, Lebanese, Greeks, Tongans, Persians, Samoans, Cambodians, Nigerians, and Kenyans. We’re from all over the globe. But we call Guilford our home.
We are tradies, teachers, engineers, concreters, unemployed, nurses, labourers, lawyers, and managers. We are sons, daughters, mums, dads, aunties uncles and grandparents. But we’re one in Christ Jesus.
The opportunities are endless, but the workers are few. We’d love you to come and join us as we engage and evangelise our community.
Particularly, we’re looking to employ a children’s and youth pastor because there are lots of kids in the suburb of Guildford, but most of them ‘don’t know their right from their left’.
We’re going to continue, here in Guildford, sharing Christ with our community, so that God might continue his work of changing the ‘bad lands’ into the ‘promised land’ one person at a time.

To be considered, the successful candidate must:
* Adhere to theNicene Creed and Statement of Faith
* Adhere to a Conservative Evangelical Theology
* Complete Child Protection Training
* Hold a valid Working with Children Check
