Our client has an opportunity for a Tools Development Engineer to join them on a contract basis until the end of 2025. This is a great opportunity to work within the engineering function supporting the ramp up at the Broughton plant. Role: Tools Development Engineer (Metrology) Location: Broughton, Flintshire - fully onsite Hours: 35 hours per week Clearance: BPSS required to start Hourly Rate: £36.70 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 What you'll be doing: Ensure successful industrialization of SA Jigs and Tools Requests and supporting Projects (creation, development and modification) until final acceptance and handover to the corresponding Operations Team. Integrate mature industrial technologies in line with R&D. Collaborate with R&D to integrate requirements and consolidate Airbus Industrial Vision. Design and/or specify the requested Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements. Contribute to CDT MFT for production investigations utilising tooling and metrology skillset. Main outputs are: Qualified Jigs and Tools assets. Interpretation of aircraft design model and relay into operations and operational support.
