Shorterm Group is currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established engineering company based in South Oxfordshire.
Key Skills
* A minimum of five years' recent experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar quality-related role
* Ability to train employees in quality-related subjects
* Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques
* Good knowledge of CMM programming (PC-DMIS ideally)
Responsibilities
* Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related issues
* Training operators in all aspects of inspection techniques and equipment
* Recommending and implementing improvements to inspection and quality processes and equipment where appropriate
* Producing routine final inspection trend analysis and reports
* Managing non-conformances and customer complaints using 8D and 5 Whys methodologies

* Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
