About The Role
Job Overview
You will be responsible for the care and wellbeing of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team of Nurses and Carers, providing clinical guidance and coaching. Strong leadership will ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the care home. Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and choice is vital, and maintaining accurate records with attention to detail is essential for addressing any issues. You will exercise professional judgement and make critical decisions.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide leadership across administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and staff management functions
* Lead marketing efforts and promote the home's services
* Maintain operations within the agreed standards and financial parameters
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported
* Ensure care delivery is person-centred, respecting privacy, dignity, and personal choices
* Develop and review Care Plans collaboratively with Service Users, families, and the multidisciplinary team
* Manage medication in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Induct new staff and conduct supervision and appraisals
* Develop staff potential and ensure effective team working
* Mentor team members and foster strong relationships
* Update and monitor care plans regularly
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals
* Ensure care is provided according to best practice, policies, standards, and regulations
