About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team for an immediate start. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas are kept to the highest standard of hygiene. You will work as part of a friendly site team to support the daily running of the school and help create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.
Clean classrooms, corridors, and staff areas in line with the school’s hygiene standards.
Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
Ensure cleaning materials are stored safely and used correctly.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the site manager.
About You
To be successful as our next School Cleaner, you should have:
Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting preferred).
A good understanding of health and safety and safe working practices.
The ability to work independently and take pride in your work.
A valid DBS on the Update Service – essential for immediate start.
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
