EYFS Autism Support Practitioner
Location: Peterlee
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate
Looking for a role where your compassion and creativity make a difference every single day? We’re supporting a wonderful setting in Peterlee that provides tailored learning experiences for children with autism.
You’ll play a key role in helping pupils explore, communicate, and grow in confidence within a supportive EYFS environment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting individual learning and development needs
2. Encouraging play-based learning and sensory exploration
3. Working alongside specialist staff to implement personalised support strategies
Ideal candidates will have:
4. Previous experience supporting pupils with autism
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. A flexible, kind approach that helps every child shine
7. A driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
