Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and learning activities.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning and progress.
* Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
* Encourage positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development.
* Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Supervise children during playtimes, lunchtimes, and on educational visits as required.
* Contribute to the general care and welfare of pupils.
* Follow school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience of working with children in a primary school or early years setting.
* Good understanding of how children learn and how to support them effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
