School site staff

Temporary ongoing - could become permanent for the right candidate

Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm (4 weeks)
then 11am to 7pm (4 weeks)

Up to £28,142pa depending on experience

Our client, a school based in Rugby are looking for a member of staff to join their site support team. This is a varied role amd will include site security, maintenance, general support and health & safety.

Please note, you must be willing to work both shifts as these are monthly rotational.

This role will require driving a minibus therefore, applicants must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes, and you must have held a FULL UK Driving Licence for at least 2 years. You must also be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.

The key responsibilities:

• Planned and reactive maintenance for buildings, classrooms and wider facilities
• Perform routine safety inspections and compliance checks
• Building upkeep
• Site safety
• Site security
• Supporting and supervising the cleaning team
• Occasional driving of school minibus

The necessary skills and qualities:

• A can-do attitude
• Ability to work alone and in a team
• Basic skills in plumbing and carpentry would be very advantageous, but you must have general maintenance skills
