NHS Occupational Therapist – Mental Health
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist specialising in Mental Health to join our team in Beckenham, earning up to £27 per hour. What you will do:
* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments within mental health settings.
* Develop and implement personalised care plans, using specialist knowledge of OT interventions and outcome measures.
* Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students, ensuring the highest standard of practice.
* Execute risk assessments and manage risk effectively to ensure patient safety.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and coordinated care.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of services to maximise quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent track record of working within the UK as an Occupational Therapist.
* Previous experience in the NHS is highly beneficial.
* Registration with the HCPC is required, alongside substantial post‑registration experience.
* Demonstrated ability to apply specialist occupational therapy skills and interventions in mental health settings.
