The role: A pivotal role, with a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Stores Coordinator will: Have responsibility for overseeing the efficient management of all tools, materials and inventory used in the precast concrete manufacturing process. This covers receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of raw materials (aggregates, cements, steel, admixtures) and consumables. Ensure smooth operations through timely availability of materials, minimising wastage and controlling inventory costs. The person: Proven experience managing materials. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written Familiar with audits, regulatory compliance and documentation. Sound knowledge of material handling safety PPE usage and storage standards. Proven ability to supervise a team/ lead a team. Sound knowledge of inventory control methods (safety stock, reorder levels etc) IT proficiency including Microsoft Office suite. Able to handle unexpected challenges like supply delays, urgent production needs or damaged materials. Ability to respond to issues that may arise with a level-headed approach and the ability to think logically and react quickly. On offer: Salary - £33,000 per year.
