Job Specification – Purchasing/Supply Chain Manager
This company develops innovative retail solutions. They partner with leading brands and have a global sourcing network, helping them to become a preferred supply partner for non‑food retail solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners.
* Oversee stock replenishment and demand forecasting using Sage X3.
* Source new products to expand and diversify the consumer accessories range.
* Attend trade shows to identify emerging trends and potential new suppliers.
* Ensure product range evolves to meet the demands of a growing customer base.
* Monitor procurement processes to achieve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to align purchasing with business objectives.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Degree-level education, preferably in business or a related discipline.
* Strong IT skills with proven experience using business systems (Sage preferred).
* Excellent academic achievement and evidence of analytical ability.
* Demonstrated work ethic and commitment to delivering results.
* Ability to commute reliably to the site or relocate before starting.
* Full driving licence.
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within retail or FMCG distribution.
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Experience in demand forecasting and stock control.
* Knowledge of consumer accessories or related product categories.
* Ability to identify market trends and translate them into purchasing decisions.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
* Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
