Band 4

22.45 hrs. (0.61 WTE)

Permanent Contract

£30,353 – £33,016 pro-rata

The Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service requires a professional part-time Administrative Assistant. You will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Occupational Health Physiotherapy Team; facilitating the smooth running of the service whilst based at the Western General Hospital.

* Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Occupational Health Physiotherapy Team.
* Facilitate the smooth running of the service whilst based at the Western General Hospital.


Qualifications and Skills

* Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Accurate word processing and audio typing using medical terminology.
* Administrative experience is essential.
* Advanced skills in software packages (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Experience with Access database management would be advantageous.

This post requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland before starting in post.

From 1 April 2025, changes to criminal records checks may apply. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", appointment will be subject to PVG screening. Please refer to relevant official guidance for details.

Please note: This post is part-time, so the salary is pro-rata.
