Situated in the heart of Glastonbury, The George & Pilgrims Inn is a historic establishment dating back to the 15th century. As a Grade I listed building, it boasts a rich heritage, having originally served as accommodation for pilgrims visiting the nearby Glastonbury Abbey. The inn's medieval architecture, including stone mullioned windows and arched doorways, offers guests a unique and atmospheric experience steeped in history.
The inn features 14 en-suite rooms, each retaining original features while providing modern comforts. Guests can enjoy a cozy stay and the central location provides easy access to local attractions, shops, and the renowned Glastonbury Tor.

The job in a nutshell
* Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard across your section
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
* Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day operations
* Contribute to menu development with seasonal and creative ideas
* Help train and guide junior kitchen staff
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis ready to step up
* A genuine love of cooking and attention to detail
* Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
* A calm head under pressure and a drive to continuously improve
* Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 minimum preferred)
