We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team in East. The role will involve a variety of lone and team work with varied responsibilities. You will primarily be responsible for inspection and testing in occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. You will be provided with a company van and power tools, training will be provided, as and when required. This role sits within Property Services, who are responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal clients and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes.
Responsibilities
* Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
* Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
* Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
* Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, following the agreed requisition procedures and budgets; work closely with the Home Office to prevent unlawful working.
Qualifications
* Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required. Candidates must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391‑52 and AM2, or currently undertaking the qualification. Please bring the original certification proving your qualifications; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
* Working knowledge of health and safety legislation, ability to analyse and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Must hold a full valid UK driving licence to drive a company vehicle.

£41,192 per annum (rising to £43,360 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
