They are now seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to join their team, playing a pivotal role in managing clinical trial comparator sourcing activities and driving exceptional service for clients worldwide.
This is a client-facing, project-led role with the potential to progress into a senior management position in the future.
The Role As a Business Manager, you will manage and develop allocated client accounts and lead on the planning, execution and delivery of comparator sourcing projects. Youll work closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading client account development from start to finish, including preparing quotes, proposals, and progress reports.
Managing supplier relationships, negotiating best prices, and obtaining key documentation (e.g. CoA, MSDS, stability data).
Coordinating logistics with client and internal teams to ensure compliant and timely delivery of medicinal products worldwide.
Tracking project timelines and deliverables, managing changes in scope, and implementing contingency plans where needed.
Conducting post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify improvements.
Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
About You Were looking for someone with:
3+ years experience in a project or account management capacity, ideally within life sciences or a commercial environment.
A degree in a scientific discipline (Masters or PhD desirable).
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Experience with enterprise resource or stock control systems is advantageous.
A client-centric mindset, with a focus on quality, delivery, and service excellence.
Ideally, youll live within a commutable distance of Marlow.
