Specialist Care Support Workers
Permanent, 36 hours per week.

If so and you have experience of working as a Support Worker supporting thiose with complex care needs we would like to hear from you!
The role:
1. Join a brand new service in Knowsley, where support will be required 24/7 to ensure the highest quality of care and support is provided at all times to individual with complex care needs/autism.
2. As a Specialist Support Worker you will provide personalised care and support to an indivudal with complex care needs and autism on a 3:1 basis.
3. Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, medication administration.
4. Work with support and care plans tailored to each individual's specific requirements, ensuring their safety and well-being.
5. To enable and support people to be actively engaged in their living environment and within their local community
6. Developing positive relationships with the people being supported, focussing on individual outcomes. Working with the team to deliver the things that are important to the people we support.
7. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
8. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies, and confidentiality standards.
9. Flexibility to work on a rota including days and nights shifts, 12 hour shifts. 36 hours per week.
About you:
10. Previous experience as a Support Worker within a complex or specialist care setting is highly desirable.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
12. Ability to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends, and unsociable hours if required.
13. Ability to support people in ways consistent with their rights, choices and responsibilities.
14. A positive attitude to people with complex physical, learning disabilities and / or mental health problems
15. Ability to support others to make informed choices within their daily lives
16. Good verbal communication skills and ability to listen sensitively to others
17. Written English skills, with an ability to contribute accurately to record keeping
18. An understanding of how to promote the inclusion of people with a complex physical disability, learning disability or mental health problems in their local communities.
19. Car drivers with access to your own vehicle
