Working within our Hexham Transfer Station we are looking for Site Operatives to join our expanding team.
About The role
Location: Hexham Transfer Station, Northumberland, NE46 4DL
Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off 11 hour shifts 07.00 – 18.00Working 38.5 average hour per week with half hour breakStart times 07.00am - 18.00pmFull PPE providedBonus of £180 per month payable if targets are metTHE DUTIES INCLUDE:
Operating the weighbridge and following waste acceptance procedures to ensure correct and safe import and export of materials.Operating the loading shovel to stockpile material and load wagons for the export of materialMaintaining accurate records for the import and export of material and of all activities on the site.Daily Stock takes and daily input of load details for stand alone HWRC’sMaintenance of site equipment and toolsUndertaking first aider duties and fire warden duties on siteAny other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-roleTHE PERSON
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to obtain a full working understanding of the site licence / permit and who will work to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you may be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for good customer service, waste acceptance, maintenance of site equipment, infrastructure and operation of site machinery e.g. loading shovel.In line with SUEZ R & R UK Ltd Values and Ethics Charter the job holder is expected to:
