Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join an award-winning facilities management company based at their clients manufacturing site In Sudbury. Salary: £30,000 per year
Permanent - Full Time 40hrs
Role:
Oversee and ensure compliance within the soft services departments aligning with the client's health and safety protocols.
Coordinate the day-to-day service delivery, maintaining statutory, mandatory, and contractual compliance across the soft services department.
Assist in managing the site in the absence of the Facilities Manager, supporting the development of business strategies to meet current and emerging client needs.
Lead a culture of safety, ensuring all Safeguard administration and logistical operations prioritise health and safety.
Manage, train, and support the on site team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and employee engagement.
Optimise operational efficiency and profitability, working closely with the FM Manager and utilising systems such as Kronus and Eprofit.What you bring:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Experience in facilities management, particularly in waste management within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Proven ability to manage training, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
A track record of successful people management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.What's on offer:
