Night Children's Residential Worker - Pilsley, Chesterfield (Health Need Focus)

What You'll Do
* Provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing presence for children with disabilities throughout the night, including those with complex medical needs.
* Accurately monitor and record health observations (e.g., vital signs, specific symptoms, seizure activity) at scheduled intervals, escalating any concerns immediately to the Night Duty Manager or appropriate professional.
* Administer prescribed night-time medication following all policy and procedure guidelines, ensuring meticulous and auditable record-keeping.
* Provide direct support for children who wake up, require repositioning, or need assistance with personal care during the night.
* Complete domestic duties, administration, and record-keeping tasks during quiet periods to support the daytime team.
* Work as part of a committed team to ensure continuity of high-quality care and support the young people's well-being.
What We're Looking For
* Kind, reliable, and resilient individuals with a genuine passion for working with children, especially those requiring specialised health support.
* Experience in a care setting and/or working with children with complex needs or medication administration is highly desirable, but full specialised training will be provided.
* The ability to work fixed night shifts, ensuring consistency for the young people in our care.
* A relevant qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, is a plus, but a willingness to learn and commit to specialised health training is what matters most.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
