Role Description
The External Relations Associate is a non-enumerated role, meaning it is unpaid and undertaken on a voluntary basis.
Key responsibilities include:
* Identify potential client organisations and conduct targeted outreach to introduce NBS and its services
* Maintain a database of potential and existing client contacts
* Arrange introductory meetings between interested organisations and the NBS leadership team
* Support the conversion of opportunities into defined consulting projects
* Maintain professional relationships with organisations to encourage repeat engagements
* Work closely with the internal team to communicate project opportunities and client needs
Qualifications
* Strong communication and networking skills
* Professional written communication, particularly email and LinkedIn outreach
* Confidence in initiating conversations with professionals and organisations
* Interest in consulting, business development, and industry engagement
* Organised and proactive in identifying new opportunities
* Background in life sciences, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, business, economics, or a related field is preferred
