My client, a Nursery based in Wimbledon,is hiring for a Nursery Chef role, which involvespreparing nutritious meals for children and staff while maintaining hygiene standards. The position requires experience in catering, planning balanced menus, and knowledge of food hygiene, and involves menu planning, stock management, and working with dietary needs.
Salary: £27,500
Hours: 9-6pm

Responsibilities
Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals for children aged 0-5.
Cater to a variety of dietary needs and allergies.
Plan menus in line with healthy eating guidelines.
Manage stock and budgets efficiently.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
Requirements
Experience in a catering environment.
Experience planning balanced, nutritional menus.
Relevant qualifications, such as a catering qualification and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
Knowledge of child development is a plus, as is a passion for working with young children.
