We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee multiple EBD children's homes in Chesterfield, supporting children aged between 10 - 17 with high complex support needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Setting: 4 Solo Homes | 1 child per home Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards Register with Ofsted as the homes Registered Manager Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices Build and lead a skilled, trauma-informed staff team Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the home Liaise with local authorities, social workers, and other key professionals Foster a warm, therapeutic environment focused on development, safety, and independence Monitor and evaluate care delivery, ensuring continuous improvement Assist with budget planning and resource allocation in collaboration with the provider Experience & Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Minimum 3 years of experience managing children's residential services. At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and child development Experience supporting children with low to medium emotional, behavioural, or learning needs Confident in working with multi-agency teams and leading inspections Demonstrated knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015. Strong leadership skills and experience managing multiple teams/sites. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
