Overview
Southampton Law School is a global Law School, firmly rooted in the UK with a mission to respond to the greatest global challenges that humanity faces. It is part of the Russell Group and is committed to research‑driven legal education and innovative scholarship.
Our multi‑award‑winning Global Law Clinic (GLC) was established with the primary aim of developing students into reflective graduates who can shape the world around them. The GLC offers students the opportunity to take part in human, non‑human and environmental law clinics, teaching them to reflect on ethical dilemmas and the impact of law on society.
We intend to strengthen national and global partnerships with law firms, NGOs and university law clinics, and further develop our clinical legal education initiative.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or soon to qualify and eligible for a practising certificate. The post holder will supervise students working in either our employment law clinic or family law clinic.
