Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience)
About the Role:
A dedicated and nurturing SEN provision in Buckingham is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team this September. The role will involve working with pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs, in small class settings.
You’ll play a key role in delivering personalised learning, building strong relationships, and ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive—academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons based on EHCP targets
* Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
* Work closely with TAs, therapists, and SENCO
* Monitor and assess progress regularly
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS with experience in SEN or a mainstream teacher with SEN knowledge
* Understanding of ASD, SEMH, and other learning needs
* Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* Team player with a commitment to inclusive education
