Learning Support Assistant – Permanent position
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to become empowered and fully access the curriculum, promoting their independence and successful completion of their programme of study.
Responsibilities
Assist college tutors and students by providing one‑to‑one support, practical and classroom assistance, and personal care, ensuring a positive learning experience that enhances student outcomes.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Demonstrated SEN experience in schools or colleges
* GCSE or equivalent functional Skills L2 in Maths and English
* Experience supporting college tutors across a range of academic courses
* Broad experience with personal care and learning support work
* Strong knowledge and understanding of a T‑Level course (or similar)
