Overview
Mechanical Engineer - Dumfries at Oldcastle Infrastructure. Salary: Circa £30,000 - £50,000 OTE DOE. Hydro International, a CRH Company, is a leading global provider of advanced products, services and expertise to help municipal, industrial and construction customers improve water management processes and reduce environmental impact.
We are part of CRH Infrastructure Products and work within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team, supporting water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Dumfries branch.
Responsibilities
* Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
* Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
* Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
* Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
* Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
* Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
* Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
Qualifications
* Current Valid Driving License
* City & Guilds Qualified
* Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
