The Role
A medically focused Field Service Engineer responsible for service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of diagnostic laboratory systems across South East NHS laboratories.
Responsibilities
* Perform service and installation for haematology, immunodiagnostics, and blood diagnostic products.
* Diagnose and repair breakdowns in a high‑value electronic and electro‑mechanical environment.
* Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy and performance.
* Work collaboratively with clients to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Qualifications
* Engineer, electronics or science‑based subject qualification preferred.
* Background in electronic or electro‑mechanical service engineering on high‑value capital equipment.
* Experience across medical, laboratory, scientific, ex‑forces, print‑press or other high‑value equipment sectors acceptable.
* Customer‑focused attitude and strong technical motivation.
